Three Things That Make You Feel Happy

Everyone has the rights to be happy and everyone is born to own his happiness in this world. We are eager for happiness just like the fish is eager for water.

People have different ideas on what is happiness indeed. Recently I read something on happiness and I think it is some kind of philosophic. Here, I would like to share with you guys.

Being occupied

Being occupied is to have something to do in daily life. God creates everyone to realize his responsibility in his own position and we have no excuses to avoid. It is no doubt that everyone of us are long for the respect and praise or something alike from outside for these things make us feel needed and valued in the society. And it is the responsibility we are doing that makes us one of the true members in society to gain the respect , no matter how insignificant these things sound. As long as you feel filled when the day comes an end, you will feel happy when all the days are counted together at last to a whole life.

Being Happy In A Relationship Is In Your Hands

Have you ever been in a relationship where everything seems to be going well between the two of you, aside from the few minor quirks of your partner, and all the while, however, you can’t help but ask yourself “is this person really making me happy?” Your relationship seems good, after all, but maybe it’s just not quite as exciting as you hoped or expected it to be, especially after the two of you have been together awhile.

Well, what if I told you that it isn’t the responsibility of someone else to make you happy? Expecting someone to make you happy when you aren’t already happy by yourself is not what love relationships are all about. The only person that can truly make you happy is yourself.

Are You Happy?

I believe that finding happiness and maintaining this feeling as a constant in our life is directly linked to our personal fulfillment. If we are avid in pursuing our own personal growth and development then we will experience authentic happiness. The problem is that most of allow ourselves to get stuck in the daily grind, to respond to life rather than to create it. We let others make decisions for us and think we must settle for mediocrity and dissatisfaction.

This is a myth! We do not need to settle or resign our life to its present course. We have the ability to make decisions, to choose, to reason, to follow our heart. If you truly want to find happiness then you must take charge of your life, begin to create instead of respond and work on improving your personal growth and development.

The Depth of Happiness

Happiness is something everyone seeks. The definition of happiness may be the same, but the goals may be vastly different. Therefore, the depth and feelings of happiness also differs. A blind person will feel happy if he is able to see again. A homeless person may be happy when he has a good meal to eat. A couple from long distance meeting up is happiness for them. Happiness is a feeling. Therefore, there is no absolute standard. Different people from different era have different goals and standards for happiness. And so the depth of it is also different.

Recently I’ve read many articles by my friends who talk about how to be happier. I commented that my definition of happiness is: Appreciation is Happiness.
