Herbal Skin Care Tips

Skin care is something that we can agree is important to how we look and feel. Choosing the correct skin care is important.  Is herbal skin care the answer? Let’s take a look.

Skin care is not a topic of recent times; it has been in practice since
ancient times, when herbal skin care was probably the only way to take
care of skin. However, skin care has transformed in a big way. Herbal
skin care routines have been replaced by synthetic/chemical-based skin
care routines. The herbal skin care recipes which once used to be common
place are not so popular today (and even unknown to a large population).
This transformation from herbal skin care to synthetic, can probably be
attributed to two things – our laziness (or just the fast pace of lives)
and the commercialisation of skin care.

Skin Care Tip: What to Believe

Do this and don’t do that.  Sometimes it is very confusing to read all the labels in the store and to know what to believe.  It takes a little time but by reviewing and learning about your skin, you will be able to make an educated decision that your skin will thank and reward you for making.

The first skin care tip is all skin needs to be cleansed.  Unfortunately, many people take this step to an extreme.  If the skin doesn’t feel tight, it must still be unclean.  Wrong.  Tight skin means the vital natural oils have been removed and the result can be rough, red, dry skin.

Cleansing the skin with warm water and any of the mild liquid cleansers for most people will clean the skin but leave the natural oils intact.  Bar soaps can be irritating and facial cleansers don’t always take care of excess dirt and oil, so stick to mild, non-soap cleansers.

All Natural Skin Care – What Does it Mean and Why Should You Care?

As we get older our skin ages, and as we start to notice ageing skin our thoughts turn to skin care. Today I want to examine the problems with mainstream anti aging products, find out what all natural skin care is and why this is important for you to know.

Anti aging products are supposed to be good for us. They are supposed to reverse the effects of skin ageing and to reduce the visible results, namely wrinkles, skin sagging, fine lines, age spots and more. Using skin care products is supposed to be a positive in our life.

But unfortunately for many people this is not the case. The numbers of people who suffer from allergies, skin irritation and skin problems like eczema from the use of mainstream big brand skin care products is huge. I know this because it’s happened to a member of my family and because I spend my time researching this.
