Self-Hypnosis and Happiness

In a world where fast pace, the bottom line, and being the best is often leading every move we make it is important to remember we all need to take a moment to pause and simply reflect on what is going on around us. Many techniques are used today to assist alleviate stress like yoga, drinking, or sports to just name a few. But what can you do for yourself that allows immediate release of stress and tension during your day? Self hypnosis is a great way to find instant tranquility amid your everyday activities.

By simply taking ten minutes to quiet yourself and focus on hypnosis you can return back to your desk or work place rejuvenated and re-energized. In fact, studies have found that those individuals who take time to pause and reflect during the day find more happiness and contentment in their lives which leads to being more productive in the work place. It appears we have forgotten that all aspects of our lives are intertwined; how we act in one part of our life will inevitably effect us in another part. It is important to find an inner-equilibrium so that you can carry a sense of awareness in all aspects of your life. Self hypnosis allows you to find your inner-equilibrium and will help you excel in all you do.

Self-hypnosis is also a great technique to use if you are having trouble falling asleep. One can often find him or herself tossing and turning at night getting more and more frustrated but if he/she can utilize self-hypnosis, a great sense of peace can fall upon the body and assist in a good night sleep. Simply lie down and focus on letting go of the tension in your body, take a deep breath and slowly exhale. The trick to self-hypnosis is to repeat the same motion or thought so that you begin to fall into a state of true hypnosis. You can focus on your exhale or you can visualize a resting state and focus on that. It will surprise you how quickly your mind will fall into a hypnotic state and you will drift off to sleep easily.

With today’s constant stimulus and encouragement to constantly be moving, it is imperative to take time for self-hypnosis both during the day and to assist in a solid night sleep. Self-hypnosis can be a regular practice to help with insomnia or simply be a practice to rejuvenate your body and spirit; with practice you can personally manage your inner peace.
